Why We Built This
Every day, millions of Indian merchants accept UPI payments. But verifying each one means stopping work, picking up the phone, and checking the screen. Hardware soundboxes cost ₹2,000+ and need a data connection. We thought: why not turn the phone you already have into a soundbox?
How MyBox Works
Notification listening
MyBox uses Android's notification listener to detect incoming UPI payment notifications from apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm.
Payment parsing
The parser extracts the amount, sender and UPI app from the notification. It works across all major UPI apps.
SMS verification
For added confidence, MyBox can also read bank SMS to double-confirm payment amounts and avoid false alerts.
Voice announcement
The amount is announced clearly in your chosen language using offline text-to-speech. No internet needed.
